COMMUNITY CLASSES

We will not accept reservations for COMMUNITY CLASSES over the phone. If you don’t have a reservation it is a first come basis. Classes are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you can not make your class please cancel out 2 hours prior to class. You will not be refunded for the class but you can reschedule it. If you do not cancel out of your community class before the 2 hour time limit you are charged for the class. If it is an emergency please call and let us know so we are not holding your spot for you.

CLOSINGS

If Ithaca City Schools are closed, Blackbird Studio will also be closed!

BE ON TIME

Arrive at least 10 minutes before class. The door locks when class begins so please be punctual!

CANCELING OR SIGNING UP FOR CLASSES

We are a boutique studio and are not open all day long.

Ask any of the staff members about the app- its super convenient and easy to use. We recommend that you pre-register for classes you wish to attend – just please remember to cancel out of them 2 hours prior if you can not attend. Please make sure to check emails and text messages when you are on a waitlist to see if you have been added.

We can not accept cancelations for classes over the phone that are left on the answering machine. Please use the computer system to modify your reservations. In cases of emergency (less than 2 hours before class)please call 607-279-1839 and inform us that you will not be attending. If we can fill your spot you will not be charged for the class. If we are unable to fill your spot the decision will be made on a case by case basis.

NO CELL PHONES IN CLASS

Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. Please let the teacher know if you must have your phone in class because you are on call. We reserve the right to ask you to remove your phone from class if it is becoming a distraction.

LATE CANCEL/ABSENT FROM CLASS

Unlimited Monthly Pass Members: If you miss 3 classes in a row, you will be charged a $19 No Show Fee, and you will be charged for every class missed thereafter.

Class Packages will have a class deducted from their account when late canceling/absent from class. It is your responsibility to call the studio before class to avoid any penalty.

Community Classes that re not canceled prior to the 2 hours limit are non-refundable and non-transferable.

BARRE SOCKS

Socks are mandatory in ALL barre classes. For the first 3 classes you attend at the studio we allow you to borrow socks, and after those 3 times you must bring your own. We sell a variety of styles, sizes and colors if you need to purchase a pair.

CANCELING AUTOPAY

When you wish to cancel your Monthly Unlimited Membership or the 4X a Month Membership , you must request and fill the form out in the studio or email toryjenis@gmail.com 30 days prior to the next billing cycle. If you do not cancel your contract prior to the 30 days you will be charged for the next month. Unlimited and 4X a month do have a 2 month minimum commitment.
